DOWNLORD Set Record Straight Regarding Drummer Situation

April 3, 2006

Despite rumors to the contrary, DOWNLORD — the Denmark-based death metal act featuring former members of BOLT THROWER/BENEDICTION, INIQUITY and SACRIFICIAL — will NOT be utilizing the services of drummer Reno Kiilerich (DIMMU BORGIR, VILE, PANZERCHRIST, DEW-SCENTED) for their upcoming dates as the support act for BOLT THROWER. "We did ask him, but he had other commitments already, and is currently out touring with VILE," DOWNLORD frontman Dave Ingram said. "Our ex-drummer, Rasmus Schmidt (who played on our first demo),has kindly agreed to step in for these gigs, and we really appreciate him helping us out. It seems that there have been some ads/posts put out stating Reno was gonna be joining us onstage, so we wanted to set the record straight...and make sure the credit goes to Rasmus for his generosity."

Apr. 13 - Copenhagen, DEN @ The Rock
